How can I express my love to you in times such as these? Challenges surround us with so many hard to please.
We have been through much together and will face more of the same but we can surely do it before we go insane.
Despite the world around us and corona on the loose, we are blessed with each other and are happy as a goose.
Our love is deep and stronger than before. Deeply committed and unconditional even more.
Our family isn’t perfect. But together we are strong. We hold our ground with valor, even when we’re wrong.
On days like today, we eat and reminisce. Nothing will stop us, this we’ll never miss.
Some like dark meat, some like white. Some pull on wishbones and try with all their might.
Some like the center and others like the crust. But as for us? Love we really must!
Take a look around you and wonder at what you see, a family that supports you and loves you as you be!
Our gathering is smaller as we miss the larger group. We hunker down and love in a smaller coop.
So, enjoy your favorite dishes and the people called your own, as we celebrate and party in our little home!
