Social Networking or Self Promoting?
The following is the British English definition of self-promotion.
SELF-PROMOTION: Things that you do or say in order to make people notice you and think you are important.
This is what the Bibles says about self-promotion:
“Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit.” Philippians 2:3
Seems there might be a reason Facebook calls it a “status” update.
One seeks fame, the other friends.
