The Unfolding of God’s Plan

He who points the stars in their courses will not fail to direct the soul which has no other aim than to do His will.

God’s impressions WITHIN and His Word WITHOUT are always collaborated by His Providence AROUND and we should quietly wait until these three focus into one point.

When things seems to have reached a desperate pitch it is not so easy, at such times, to stand still and see the salvation of God; but we must.

Saul compelled himself because he thought Samuel was too late in coming, in so doing He made the greatest mistake of his life. God may delay to come in the way of His providence. He stays long enough to test the patience of faith, but not a moment behind the extreme hour of need.

It is very remarkable how God guides us by circumstances. At one moment the way may seem utterly blocked, and then shortly afterwards some trivial incident occurs, which might not seem much to others, but which to encourage our soul to wait only upon God till it is given.

Seek to be quick of understanding that we may see the least sign
of His will. Let us stand with girded loins and burning lamps, that we may be prompt to obey.
